We'll take a small screwdriver and as we lift up on the tailgate we'll move that metal out of the way to where it will slide on, up and over. Then we'll make our way around to the driver side and do that same thing. You will want to support the weight of the tailgate. If you don't it's going to come down and make contact with your bumper and it's going to rest on there, and that's not something that we want. more
